At PJP Homes, we only schedule a single project at a time to ensure quality and attention to detail. This is one of our greatest values, knowing it is a meaningful experience when you take the plunge and pursue a custom home build - making the venture all the more special. Only working through a project at a time also allows for the best result in delivering within the initial timeline and budget that is negotiated at the engagement stage of your project. Our team also loves to immerse ourselves within your project, living through the construction of your dream home - this isn’t achievable when there are multiple projects occurring simultaneously.
PJP Homes was established in 1993 by our director Peter Phair. Peter is passionate about quality, premium finishes that stand the test of time, and client satisfaction. This is why he knew it was important for him to establish his own construction company that could stand by its values, putting the client and their vision first in every project. With over 40 years of experience, Peter has been able to effectively implement his core values and handpick a team that upholds them time and time again.Â
Upon approaching the idea of constructing your dream custom home, begin with a simple checklist of what you desire; lifestyle, features, fixtures, timeline, budget and functionality. He is present onsite every single day, so you’ll always have a familiar face that you can trust to keep you updated of your projects progress.

Peter Phair of PJP Homes, was recommended to us by Dave Smyth who had contracted Peter previously.
Ours was not an easy project, consisting of three distinct sections, two individual owners and the Body Corporate.
Peter grasped the scale and complexity of the project from the beginning.
The project consisted of excavating beneath the building to create a separate 1 bedroom unit, the erection of a two storey balcony, re-aligning the roof line and a complete fitout of the attic space into a bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
Due to the slope of the site, the access was not easy, but Peter overcame all the problems presented to him. Peter was very easy to work with, he always did what he said he would, no delays in the building schedule. The workmen were on site every day, Monday to Friday.
The accounting method used by PJP Homes suited us perfectly and was always accurate and easy to comprehend.
Peter's attention to detail was meticulous which resulted in a very pleasing result for all parties concerned.
We would highly recommend Peter for any future prospective clients.

PJP Homes became part of the family during the project. As a family member Peter treated the building of our house as if it was his own home and had our interests at heart. He had an eye for detail, an appreciation of our budget and a willingness to go the extra yard. Peter was always contactable and willing to listen to our issues and concerns. We have a beautiful home because of Peter.

If every builder paid as much care and attention as Pete and the PJP team the world would be a better place!
Peter's craftsmanship, attention to detail and solid, pragmatic advice are hallmarks of a PJP build. We both worked full time and yet Pete worked seamlessly with us and our architect over the entire 14 month build. Plus his care for our home did not finish on the day he went to his next build. Six years down the track he is still patiently fields our calls like. "Pete, how should I think about this?" " Who is the best person if I want to do that?" That kind of customer service and genuine pride in their work is what sets Pete and his carefully chosen sub-contractors apart. We couldn't recommend PJP more highly. I would happily build another home with PJP except they did such a great job on this one we have little incentive to ever move!
